Well-known computer scientist Andrej Karpathy announced that he will use his many years of experience in OpenAI and Tesla to launch an artificial intelligence (AI) integrated education platform called Eureka Labs.
Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, educational platforms have used generative artificial intelligence to improve and create digital learning content. Following this trend, Karpathy’s Eureka Labs platform will have teachers design courses and use artificial intelligence teaching assistants to guide students’ learning.
Eureka Labs’ first product is LLM101n. The purpose of this undergraduate course is to help students train their own AI models and create a similar miniaturized teaching assistant system.
Karpathy posted on social platform’s autonomous driving division which develops advanced driver assistance software.
Karpathy, who holds a doctorate from Stanford University, started out by publishing teaching videos on how to solve magic cubes in his early years. He has been sharing content exploring concepts related to artificial intelligence online for many years. These experiences have laid a solid foundation for him to found Eureka Labs. Combined with his professional knowledge and educational enthusiasm, Karpathy’s Eureka Labs will bring new possibilities to the field of artificial intelligence education.
